We are pleased to announce the II International Scientific and Business Congress CIDEMA, titled “The AI Revolution and Its Global Impact on Business and Economy.” The event will take place on November 19th and 20th, 2025 (online), followed by a Business Day on November 21st (hybrid: online and on-site).

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming how businesses compete, create value, and organize work. Studies by PwC and McKinsey & Company estimate that AI could add USD 15.7 trillion to global GDP by 2030, while Generative AI may contribute USD 2.6–4.4 trillion per year across more than 60 business functions. Yet, its adoption remains uneven: according to the European Commission (2024), only 13.5% of firms use AI compared with 41.2% of large companies, widening the gap between leaders and SMEs.

The social dimension is equally critical. The IMF projects that AI will affect around 40% of global jobs (and 60% in advanced economies), stressing the need for reskilling and human-centered innovation. In parallel, the EU Artificial Intelligence Act—effective February 2025—and OECD guidelines highlight the importance of ethics, transparency, and equitable access in this technological revolution.

Against this backdrop, CIDEMA II provides an essential platform for academics, professionals, and policy experts to debate how AI is reshaping management, competitiveness, and economic structures worldwide. The congress aims to foster a global dialogue on innovation that is both strategically sound and socially responsible.

To guide contributions, participants are invited to submit papers aligned with the following Artificial Intelligence thematic areas:

  • Managerial Decision-Making, Operations, and Competitive Strategy
  • Marketing Science, Sales Analytics, and Customer Experience
  • Digital Technology Management, MLOps, and Cybersecurity
  • AI for Corporate Law, Regulation, and Compliance
  • Finance, FinTech, and Digital Assets (including Blockchain)
  • Workforce Analytics and Talent Management (Human Resources)
  • Economics of AI and Algorithmic Markets
  • AI Ethics, Governance, and Sustainability
  • AI Literacy and Critical Thinking
